CALS Ambassadors are current CALS students who volunteer their time to assist prospective, admitted, and current students about educational opportunities in CALS. They assist in outreach efforts which includes leading tours and meeting with prospective students and families, volunteering at CALS visit day events, representing CALS at college fairs and industry events, and supporting alumni events.
The CALS Ambassadors was established in spring of 1992 as a service, educational, and social organization in which they participated in public relations, recruitment activities, and alumni events. They are funded through a grant from the non-profit Wisconsin Agricultural and Life Sciences Alumni Association (WALSAA), the college’s very own alumni organization.
CALS Ambassadors are always excited to share their knowledge about CALS and student experience at UW-Madison. Feel free to contact us at email@example.com for more information or any questions you have about CALS.
