CALS Information Sessions

Virtual options available
Prospective freshmen & transfer students are invited to join our one-hour CALS Info Sessions to learn more about the College of Agricultural & Life Sciences (CALS). Topics we’ll cover include CALS majors, opportunities, and resources to ensure our CALS students are supported in their undergraduate career. You will also hear directly from CALS Ambassadors on their student experiences with time for question and answer.

CALS Majors Panel
Feb 15, 2021 at 5-6pm CST
The Majors Panel series is a way for admitted students to learn more about majors within CALS, ask questions they may have, and interact with other prospective and current students. This week’s major panel is intended for students who are interested in Biology, Microbiology, Life Sciences Communication, Agricultural Business Management, Entomology, Plant Pathology, and Soil Science, or anyone unsure of their intended major. Life in Madison Panel

CALS Academic Opportunities

To close off CALS Admitted Students Week, we are hosting a Closing Q&A Session for admitted students to ask any questions they may have about CALS and any of our academic opportunities. We will have advisors from the CALS Honors Program, QuickStart, CALS Study Abroad, CALS Career Services, and CALS Scholarships to share about their programs. Zoom Registration Link Here

UW-Madison is a top research institution with many great opportunities for undergraduates to participate in research either for credit or for pay. In CALS approximately 50% of our undergraduates participate in research! Come to this session to learn about how to find research and plethora of research disciplines happening on our campus.
